Judy(the Other)

Just before Memorial Day I was having a conversation with some non-Appalachian Gringas (Hispanas would understand) about our family visits to the cemeteries on Memorial Day. I got the dog-look (head tilts side-to-side, quizzical, confused expressions). When I visit So OH next month one of the treks my mother and I will make is to all the family cemeteries I can get her to.
If I could, I would be buried at the Garvin Cemetery, up Diehlman Rd, such a beautiful, peaceful hill where much of my family of origin now reside.
You will be neighbors with my Dad, Mom will someday join him there, my maternal grandparents and various aunts, uncles and cousins. You'll be in good company.
